Privacy Policy

This policy applies to The Fullstack Creators website and every service we offer through it. The Fullstack Creators is a freelancing platform built for students — a place where clients post projects and creators bid on, deliver, and get paid for that work.

It covers both sides of the platform: clients who post projects and creators who apply to them. Wherever this policy says “we” or “us”, it means The Fullstack Creators.

We collect only what the platform needs to work:

• Account details. Your email address, name, password, and whether you signed up as a client or a creator.
• Profile information. Your bio, skills, role, location, profile photo, portfolio links, and anything else you choose to add to your public profile.
• Project information. Project briefs, budgets, deadlines, bids, applications, and deliverables you upload.
• Messages. Conversations between clients and creators that take place in the platform chat.
• Payment information. Transaction records for funded projects and payouts. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor — we never store them ourselves.
• Technical and usage data. Device type, browser, approximate location, pages visited, and actions taken, collected through analytics so we can understand how the platform is used.

We use what we collect to:

• Create and secure your account.
• Show your profile to the people you would expect to see it — creators to clients browsing for talent, and clients to creators reviewing projects.
• Match creators with relevant projects and deliver notifications.
• Process project funding, release payments, and keep transaction records.
• Provide support and mediate disputes between clients and creators.
• Detect fraud, spam, and abuse.
• Understand usage patterns so we can improve the product.

Your profile — name, role, skills, bio, photo, and portfolio — is visible to other signed-in users of the platform. Project briefs are visible to creators who can apply to them.

Your email address, password, payment details, and private messages are never shown on your public profile.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising on the platform.
• We do not read your private messages to build advertising profiles. We only access them when required to resolve a reported dispute or investigate abuse.
• We do not share your data with anyone beyond the service providers listed below.

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the platform. They only receive what they need to perform their service:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Vercel — hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Our payment processor — project funding and creator payouts.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, if we need to protect the safety or rights of our users or the platform, or if The Fullstack Creators is involved in a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets. If ownership ever changes, we will tell you before your information moves.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal details, except for transaction records we are required to retain for legal and accounting reasons. Messages tied to a completed project may be retained for dispute resolution.

• Access and correction. You can view and edit your profile at any time from your dashboard.
• Notifications. You can control which notifications you receive from your account settings.
• Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us.
• A copy of your data. You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.

The Fullstack Creators is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Your connection to the platform is encrypted in transit, and data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Our providers operate data centres in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in. Wherever it is processed, this policy still applies.

We may update this policy as the platform grows. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
